User data deletion

This page explains how to delete your Gods WURC account and the data linked to it. It is the instructions URL suitable for Meta's User data deletion field.

A. Delete while signed in

  1. Sign in at Sign in.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete account
  4. Confirm by typing DELETE and submitting the permanent deletion

Deletion is permanent. After success you will be signed out and cannot recover that account's saved reflections.

B. If you cannot sign in

Open a request via GitHub Issues and ask for account deletion help.

Include identifying information that helps locate the account:

  • The email address on the account, if you know it
  • The sign-in method (Google, Facebook, or email magic link)
  • Approximate dates you used the product
  • Any request IDs or saved-reflection titles you still remember

Never send passwords, OAuth tokens, session cookies, or Facebook credentials.

C. What deletion covers

When account deletion succeeds, Gods WURC removes:

  • Your profile / account record
  • Saved reflections and history
  • Account preferences (including auto-save)
  • Voice Prayer source records owned by your account and the private audio objects stored under your user path
  • The Supabase Auth user and linked provider identities for that account
  • Feedback rows owned by your user id, where stored
  • Journal text on reflection requests linked to your user id (redacted as part of deletion)

There are no public share tokens to revoke in the current product. Voice audio is stored per user and is not shared across accounts.

D. What may be retained

  • Limited security, safety, or operational records that are no longer linked to your account id, where needed for abuse prevention or reliability
  • Records we are legally required to keep
  • Aggregated or irreversibly de-identified metrics that cannot reasonably identify you
  • Backup copies that expire through ordinary retention processes (not instant erasure everywhere)
